'Kalki 2898 AD' is all set to hit the cinemas on June 27. The advance bookings were opened in Andhra Pradesh on Monday evening. The bookings for the crucial Nizam market were kicked off a day before.
The Hindi version's bookings, too, have been open. And the response has been surprisingly very good. At the rate at which the bookings are taking place, it is presumed that the Prabhas-starrer will mint Rs 25 Cr (Nett.) from the Hindi version on Day 1 in the Indian territory.
The above estimated figure also includes spot bookings, not just online bookings. The response for the 3D version of the film in the Hindi market far outpaces that for the 2D version.
The Nag Ashwin directorial will see a growth on Day 1 if the 'word of mouth' is positive.
Starring Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan and Amitabh Bachchan in different roles, the film's run-time is nearly 180 minutes. Its music is by Santhosh Narayanan.
