Akash Puri is now a brand ambassador. He may have had no box-office hit, and he is yet to prove his mettle as an actor, but he has achieved something that is the dream of most small actors.
The youngster, who made a debut with 'Andhra Pori' as a male lead way back in 2016 and went on to do 'Mehbooba', 'Romantic', and 'Chor Bazar' (all three were disasters), has been roped in as a brand ambassador for a clothing brand.
Netizens are using the 'N' word (read Nepotism) to explain the surreal development. What is perplexing is that this brand endorsement has been advertised by him as if it were a genuine achievement. So far, Akash Puri is known to a small segment of the audience, that too mainly because of his father Puri Jagannadh.
In an interview before the release of 'Chor Bazar' in 2022, Akash said, "My father doesn't give suggestions related to my career. He motivates me and that's all about it. He does give feedback on my work. I do ask him for his review if something doesn't work."
