Ananya Panday, whose pan-Indian career was dead on arrival with the failure of 'Liger' in 2022, has bagged an important OTT project with Amazon Prime Video. The streaming giant today announced the film's cast and crew details.
Titled 'Call Me Bae', the film is produced by Karan Johar's Dharmatic Entertainment. "Downsized from heiress to hustler, Bae discovers that her most valuable assets aren’t her diamonds, but her street smarts and style. Broke but refusing to be broken, she navigates the newsrooms of Mumbai, finding beaus, behens, and her better self," the makers said, revealing the synopsis of the show.
Also produced by Apoorva Mehta and Somen Mishra, the show is directed by Collin D'cunha and created by Ishita Moitra. Co-written by Ishita Moitra, Samina Motlekar and Rohit Nair, it also features stand-up comic Vir Das, Gurfateh Pirzada, Varun Sood, Vihaan Samat, Muskkkaan Jaferi, Niharika Lyra Dutt, Lisa Mishra and Mini Mathur.
