People Media Factory scored a terrible flop with Gopichand last year. 'Rama Banam', directed by Sriwass, was a total misfire. Apparently, it was made at a cost of more than Rs 30 Cr. It ended up collecting a small percentage of its budget at the box-office. "'Rama Banam' had a dated story. I knew it well when I accepted the story. I relied on presentation and treatment. But things backfired," Gopichand recently said in an interview.
Putting behind the failure, producer TG Vishwa Prasad has now opted to be one of the producers of Gopichand's 32nd movie. Directed by Sreenu Vaitla, the film is an entertainer. Chitralaya Studios' Venu Donepudi is the primary producer of the project.
People Media Factory has a hunger for risk-taking. The banner believes that Vaitla can be back to being at his roaring best because Gopichand32 is an entertainer.
The film, written by Gopi Mohan, has music composed by Chaitan Bharadwaj of 'RX 100' fame. KV Guhan is its cinematographer.
