'Family Star' is set to hit the cinemas on April 5. Dil Raju on Saturday revealed that the film will have a simultaneous release in Telugu and Tamil. The running time of the film is a good 160 minutes.
Since 'Kushi' did well in Tamil, Sri Venkateswara Creations is going for a big release through distributors in Tamil Nadu. 'Family Star' will be released on more than 250 screens.
The film is also going to be released in Hindi and Malayalam subsequently. The release in the two languages will hinge on how well it performs in Telugu and Tamil.
The Parasuram Petla-directed movie is going to face competition from 'Tillu Square', which will be just a week old on April 5. Interestingly, the Nizam distributor of 'Tillu Square' is Dil Raju himself.
The trailer for 'Family Star' was released last week. With music by Gopi Sundar, the film has Mrunal Thakur as the heroine.
