Hema was recently spotted at the Bengaluru rave party. Tests were conducted and the blood samples showed that she did consume drugs. Manchu Vishnu, the President of MAA, seems to have been pressurized by YouTubers to act against Hema. The 'Kannappa' actor has made it clear that he will wait for concerned authorities to first establish Hema's supposed guilt.
"I urge everyone to refrain from jumping to conclusions and spreading unverified information. Ms.Hema deserves to be presumed innocent until proven guilty. She is also a mother and a wife, and slandering her image based on rumors is unjust. The Movie Artiste Association (MAA) condemns any illegal activities. If concrete evidence implicating Ms. Hema is provided by the police, MAA will take appropriate action. Until then, please avoid sensationalizing unsubstantiated news," Vishnu said in a statement.
Vishnu is currently doing 'Kannappa', the pan-Indian project with an international release. Its Teaser was recently screened at the Cannes Film Festival.
