Megastar Chiranjeevi has reportedly purchased six acres of land on a hilltop in Ooty, Tamil Nadu. The property acquisition has been completed. The land is said to have cost a staggering Rs 16 crore.
There are also reports that the 'Waltair Veerayya' and 'Bholaa Shankar' star is planning to construct a farmhouse on the property. He wants to make this into one of his retirement homes. Vizag is expected to be his permanent retirement home.
'Vishwambhara' is his next theatrical release. The film, whose music is by MM Keeravani and cinematography is by Chota K Naidu, will head to theatres on January 10, 2025. There is no truth to the rumour that the film's release has been postponed to March or April. Trisha Krishnan is essaying a leading role. Surbhi Puranik of 'Express Raja' fame, Ashika Ranganath and Kunal Kapoor are part of the cast. Comedian Vennela Kishore also has a key role in the movie.
