Actress Pooja Hegde has rumouredly bagged 'Kanchana 4', to be directed by Raghava Lawrence. The horror-comedy will be mounted on a huge budget, reports say.
As per the buzz in the town, the 'Maharshi' and 'Radhe Shyam' actress will be essaying the role of a comical ghost in the multi-lingual release. If the reports are true, Pooja stands a good chance of making a comeback. After all, the 'Kanchara' franchise is popular. The project could revive her southern career.
A few weeks ago, she bagged a role opposite actor Suriya. The same will be directed by Karthik Subbaraj of 'Jigarthanda' and 'Peta' fame. To be made originally in Tamil, the untitled flick will eventually be dubbed into Telugu as well. Much like 'Kanchana 4', this one, too, will be a multi-lingual release. Pooja Hegde is also doing Shahid Kapoor’s 'Deva' in Hindi. So, in all, she is going to be busy with three projects in the coming months.
