Akhil Akkineni has decided to avoid meeting Akkineni fans until he achieves a box office hit. The actor debuted in cinema about a decade ago. 'Most Eligible Bachelor' is his only success to date.
Nagarjuna, Akhil's father, conveyed his son's message to the gathered fans, stating, "Akhil told me he will face you all only after delivering a hit. He asked me to say 'hi' to you all."
'Agent' was Akhil's last theatrical release. Released in theatres in April 2023, the Surender Reddy directorial was a major disaster. His film with UV Creations and director Anil Kumar was supposed to be launched in June or July. The project is reportedly titled 'Dheera'. Akhil was rumoured to be collaborating with Tamil director Lingusamy but it was fortunately fake news. Earlier this year, he was rumoured to be teaming up with Hombale Films.
