As reported recently, director Sukumar announced that he would be spending Rs 40 lakh on funding oxygen plants in his native village, Rajolu. He has set up an 80 LPM Oxygen generation centre at Rajolu's government healthcare centre. Chelluboyina Srinivasa Venugopalakrishna, the Andhra Pradesh Minister, today inaugurated it.
Sukumar said that he has undertaken the humanitarian project in memory of his late father, Bandreddi Tirupathi Naidu. The inaugural event was attended by Kakinada district collector M Muralidhar Reddy, Joint Collector Keerthi, Nodal Office IAS Praveen Kumar, MLA Rapaka Vara Prasad, Panchayati Raj Deputy Executive Engineer and Sukumar's friend Ramabu, among others.
The guests said that people have to derive inspiration from Sukumar.
