Allu Arjun Avoids RGV Mention to Dodge Chiru, Pawan Kalyan Fans' Fury

The other day, Allu Arjun described RGV's Shiva as a classic that changed the course of Indian cinema. He was doing publicity ahead of Shiva's re-release on November 14th. In his video clip, he didn't make a mention of Ram Gopal Varma, the film's debutant director.

Usually, Allu Arjun mentions the names of all technicians and actors in his social media reviews of movies (a recent example being Kantara). In the case of Shiva, he didn't utter RGV's name. A theory by netizens is that Bunny deliberately omitted RGV's name.

RGV, over the past many years, has abused Pawan Kalyan, and even made movies against him. True to his style, he cunningly projected Bunny as a bigger box-office juggernaut than Chiranjeevi. Had the Pushpa 2 actor praised RGV in the video, the loyalists of Chiru and Kalyan would have trolled him mercilessly. He endorsed Shiva, but didn't praise RGV. That was a clever thing!
