On Monday, Johnny and Badri actress Renu Desai addressed a press conference in support of stray dogs. During the meet, she was seen angrily questioning a person in the media section, asking him if he was too deaf to hear her. The behaviour of the former wife of Pawan Kalyan sparked a row.
In a video statement, Renu Desai claimed that the person in question was not a journalist at all. "In the middle of the press conference, this random 55-year-old guy stepped into the premises and started shouting at me. I noticed him walking towards the stage, and felt that he might hit me. I have immense respect for the media," she stated.
She urged netizens to stop abusing her for supporting the rights of stray dogs. "Some of them are saying obnoxious things about what I will do if my kids get bitten by dogs," Renu shared.
Renu Desai clarified that she has no plans to enter politics. "I am happy with my NGO work. I have no intention to venture into politics. Please spare me of false rumours," the former actress added.
