Hebah Patel is playing a seemingly chilled-out role in Dhoom Dhaam, which heads to theatres on November 8. In this interview, the Kumari 21F actress talks about her role in the family entertainer, which stars Chetan Maddineni as the hero and Vennela Kishore as a major supporting role. "Our producer, Ram Kumar, ensured that the entire team was well looked after throughout our stay. Known for his passion for filmmaking, he was deeply committed to this project, making sure that we faced no challenges during our time in Poland," the actress says.

How did you come across the project?

Director Sai Kishore Macha approached me one day with the story, sharing that senior writer Gopi Mohan had crafted it. After listening to the storyline, I was instantly drawn to it. It's a delightful family entertainer, and after playing a series of serious roles (in films like Odela Railways Station,24 Kisses, Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada), I felt this would be a refreshing change.

Could you tell us about your role in Dhoom Dhaam?

Suhana is my name in it. A fun-loving girl from a wealthy background, she enjoys the freedom to travel wherever she likes. During one of her vacations, she runs into the male lead, and their friendship gradually turns into love. Portraying Suhana was a breeze.

How was it working with Chetan, the male lead?

Working with him was an absolute pleasure. Instead of focusing on seniority or experience, we prioritized bringing energy and enthusiasm to every scene we shared. His collaborative spirit made the experience truly memorable. Our shoot took place in Poland, just before winter set in. It was an extensive project, and we had to be prepared for the changing conditions.

What was it like working with Director Sai Kishore and the rest of the team?

He brings a cheerful, light-hearted energy that I truly enjoy. Working with someone so jovial adds an uplifting vibe to the entire experience. His fun-loving demeanor created a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere on set, making everyone feel at ease. Several technicians on the Dhoom Dhaam team were familiar with my previous projects, which added a sense of camaraderie and made the shooting process even smoother.

What can you tell us about the music in Dhoom Dhaam. A song sung by Mangli has particularly been highlighted?

Gopi Sundar’s music for the film is genuinely catchy. My favorite song is Tomato Buggala Pilla. The music is not only a pleasure to listen to but is also visually captivating in the film. The film is bound to impress audiences with its themes of family, love, and entertainment. It’s a feel-good movie that you won’t want to miss.
