Superstar Rajnikanth was hospitalized in Chennai with high blood pressure today. Rajnikanth, 61, was taken to St Isabel Hospital in Chennai after suffering dizziness and high blood pressure. Confirmation of his hospitalization comes amid speculation about his health after he disappeared from the shooting sets of his latest film ‘Rana’. However, the condition of Rajni, who was in Intensive Care Unit, was stable, Mrs Lata Rajnikanth told the media. She said that the actor ate something in the morning and started vomiting. According to her statement the doctors are attending to him and he is in safe hands. He is likely to be discharged on Saturday.
In EVM studios this morning, ‘Rana’ hit the sets in which Rajnikanth is portraying three different roles. Deepika Padukone, Ileana and Tabu are the leading ladies opposite him. Being directed by K S Ravi Kumar, ‘Rana’ is being jointly produced by Soundarya Rajnikanth and Eros International.
