King Nagarjuna who delivered super hit films like ‘Ninne Pelladuta’, ‘Manmadhudu’ and ‘Mass’ through his home banner Annapurna Studios is now producing and acting in ‘Rajanna’ after a long gap. It is learnt that the actor was inspired by the wonderful subject of ‘Rajanna’ and hence wanted to produce it on his own.
Nagarjuna says that he was immensely impressed with his character in the film. “‘Rajanna’ is the story of a freedom fighter. This is the realistic subject based on 3-4 incidents that occurred during the independence movement. The role of ‘Rajanna’ has given me complete job satisfaction. Director Vijayendra Prasad dealt very well with ‘Rajanna’. Rajamouli also filmed the action sequences with lot of interest and proved his worth in doing the action part. The climax is the highlight of this film. Keeravani’s music is the soul of this film. 8 year old baby Aney has given a superb performance in the key role she essayed. Her role has vital importance in this film. Art director Ravinder designed many sets and created the freedom movement atmosphere for the film. ‘Rajanna’ is the prestigious film coming under Annapurna Studios banner. Annapurna Studios’ prestigious film ‘Rajanna’ will be released in Andhra Pradesh by RR Movie Makers on September 30th. Besides Andhra Pradesh, the film will be released in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Orissa, North India and at overseas. The first look of the film will be released on August 29th on the eve of his birthday and the grand audio launch will take place in 2nd week of September.
