Tanish-Bhama starrer ‘Kodipunju’ was directed by B V V Chowdary and produced by SS Bujjibabu under Sri Sailendra Cinemas banner. The film was recently released, hence the success meet was organised in Film Chamber in Hyderabad. Roja, Sivakrishna, D S Rao, B V V Chowdary, Potti Rambabu, Chaitanya, etc., participated.
Roja said, “I’m very lucky to do the role of Daggubati Seeratnam. I thank director BVV Chowdary for choosing me for that role. I felt little difficult to say the dialogues in few occasions. Many are appreciating over phone after watching me in the trailers. After a very long the audience is able to see a film on complete village backdrop. Music is aptly suitable to the film. I liked two songs a lot. They were uniquely shot by the cameraman. A producer like Rao garu is very essential for the film industry. I wish him to make more good movies in the near future.”
Sivakrishna said, “Kodipunju is getting very good response. I thank the director and producer for also making me part of this film. The technicians being in the same age group have worked hard together and exhibited their talent. The producer is making films with good taste.”
Producer D S Rao said, “While I was listening to this story initially, the characters in the village appeared very natural to me. I felt that Roja is the apt choice for the role of Daggubati Seetaratnam. Anoop’s music is wonderful. We gave the entire rights to Suresh Productions except the Nizam and Nellore areas. We are happy to see the good response from them. I mentioned my son name in the titles instead of my name. I thank the audience for making the film a successful one.”
Director BV V Chowdary said, “Kodipunju is getting very good response from all centres on its second day also. The openings were so good we didn’t expect it to be so much for Tanish’s film. Everyone in the team worked hard. The audience proved that they will watch the film only if the movie is good. Our entire team is very happy. So far everyone saw Tanish as loverboy, but this film has given him the action hero image. The heroine’s performance is also good. The main pillars for the movie are the characters played by Roja and Sivakrishna. Roja’s trailer is the main reason for the good openings.”
