The platinum disc function of Tanish-
Shobana starrer ‘Kodipunju’ was held at Film Chamber in Hyderabad today. The film was directed by BVV Chowdary and produced by Bujjibabu under SS Cinemas banner. DS Rao presented the film. Anoop Rubens scored the music. As per the reports the film is running successfully in B and C centres with good openings.
The platinum disc function was attended by Tanish, Roja, Parachuri Sivaram Prasad, T Prasanna Kumar, Naga Prasad, etc., along with the film unit.
Roja said, “My 2nd innings as an actress is going on successfully. My role in this film is getting very good response from the mass. I’m receiving numerous phone calls from Rayalaseema. They said that everyone is addressing me as lady Balakrishna. The music played vital role in the success of this film.”
Director BVV Chowdary said, “We are very happy that this film has earned good profits for our producer. The mass is impressed with this film. Anoop Rubens’s music played vital role in making the film a grand success. I thank the audience for making the film successful one.”
Presenter DS Rao said, “We received the gross amount in the first week of the film’s release. We have included 50 more prints in the 2nd week. We released this film with the support given by D Suresh Babu. I am very happy as well as proud for making a successful film.”
This is the best openings in Tanish’s career. This success has been shared by all the unit members. Co-producer Sudharshan Reddy, Anoop Rubens, Bhaskara Bhatla, Satya, Dhanraj, Ramesh, Chaitanya and Sriram Chowdary participated in the function.
