Lakshmi Ganapathi Films’ ‘Prema Khaidi’ is the Telugu dubbed version of Tamil super hit film ‘Maina’. Directed by Prabhu Salaman the film features Vidharth and
Amala Paul in lead roles. B Subrahmanyam and Y Rupesh have jointly purchased the dubbing rights of this film and presenting it in Telugu.
In a press meet held on Sunday, producer Subrahmaniam said, “This is a real life love story that happened in a remote village near Tamil Nadu and Kerala border. The climax would definitely make the audience feel good. ‘Prema Khaidi’ will remain in the audience hearts just like the old classics ‘Devdaas’, ‘Laila Majnu’ and ‘Prema Sagaram’. So far we have presented many mass masala and action entertainers on our banner. For the first time we are bringing a youthful love entertainer to the Telugu audience. Vennelakanti penned lyrics for all songs. We are planning to release the audio shortly and the film during 2nd week of July.”
Other cast in the film is Thambi Ramayya, Sethu, Dharani, Shevvalai, etc. D Imaan scored the music, while the dialogues and lyrics were written by Vennelakanti, camera was cranked by M Sukumar, sets were designed by Vairabalan and stunts were choreographed by Anal Arasu.
