Comedian Vennela Kishore, who rose to fame after his stand out performance as Khadar in Deva Katta’s ‘Vennela’, will turn director with its sequel soon. He is also writing the script besides directing the film. The key attraction of the film is going to be the comedy script.
“Heard vennela – 2’s story yesterday...HILARIOUS!! It's going to be a comedy feast. Khadar bhai @vennelakishore is directing the film. Wishing luck”, Deva Katta tweeted today. However, the cast and crew details are awaited.
Vennela Kishore made his acting debut in 2005 through ‘Vennela’ and hence he was named after the film ‘Vennela’. Before his acting debut, he was working as a Software Engineer in USA. He was awarded with Nandi Award for Best Male Comedian for his performance in ‘Inkosaari’. His other films include Indumathi, Current, Bindaas, Prasthanam, Snehageetham, Orange, Emaindi Ee Vela and Aha Naa Pellanta. He is currently acting in Mahesh Babu’s ‘Dhookudu’.
