Nayantara, who celebrated her last birthday as heroine on 18th November said that ‘Sri Ramarajyam’ is her lbirthday gift. The actress is leaving the film industry since she is all set to marry Prabhu Deva shortly. ‘Sri Ramarajyam’ is her last film.
Sharing some of her views about her character in ‘Sri Ramarajyam’ Nayantara said “Sri Ramarajyam’ is the real birthday gift for me. Everyone’s efforts gave fruitful results. Normally the Telugu audience will image Anjali Devi when they think of Goddess Sita. Hence I used to think if I could replace her position in that role. In this regard I’m grateful to Baapu garu for giving his support to me. He told me to act in my own way without getting distracted by other things. He took care of everything right from my costumes. He sketched every scene like a beautiful painting. I thank Balakrishna garu because I got this opportunity only due to him. He aptly suited the role of Sri Ramachandra. I liked the way he handled the role. It took few days for me to understand the qualities of Sita. However, once understood I lived with the character. Baapu garu is like my father who showed me the path. I’m really very lucky to have got the opportunity to act under his direction.”
