RP Patnaik’s 2nd directorial venture ‘Friends Book’ featuring Nischal, Uday, Surya, Gemini Suresh, Preethi, Archana Sharma and Nisha Shetty in central roles was released today in Andhra Pradesh. Dr Malla Vijay Prasad produced this movie under Welfare Creations banner. A press meet was organised today by the unit members in Hyderabad where RP Patnaik, Nischal, Surya Teja, Archana Sharma, and Nisha Shetty spoke to the media.
Nischal, Surya Teja, Archana Sharma and Nisha Shetty expressed their happiness for being part of the film ‘Friends Book’ and opined that this film is for the generation today.
R P Patnaik said, “I’m very happy today. I made an attempt to direct a matured film as a filmmaker. The audience has accepted my attempt of showing the standard of Telugu film after 3 years. I thank my artists and technicians on this occasion. Many have called and appreciated the film after the first show. According to them this movie will attract the youth more. We will try to increase the theaters within 2-3 days. We are confident that the Hollywood filmmakers will try for the rights of our film. I thank the audience for watching and accepting our film.”
