Make-up man cum producer Jaya Krishna, who producer several super hit films with leading heroes of yester years like NTR, ANR, Sobhan Babu, etc., has come back to the film industry after giving a very long gap. The producer who produced 15 straight films and 22 dubbed films earlier in 1970,1980s and 1990s is now all set to make a new film titled ‘Oka Tara’ under his banner Jayakrishna Movies banner. The tagline of this film is ‘Chandrulendaro’. Shooting is expected to start in May.
Briefing the film’s details Jaya Krishna said, “Oka Tara is the story of a young girl who comes to Hyderabad with a dream of becoming a heroine. After coming to Hyderabad, she looses her virginity in the process. Later she continues to carry on life in the same route and also pushes some innocent girls in same way that she was. How she grows her prostitution market with the political influence is the film all about. We are planning to rope in one of the leading actresses to play the title role. The entire star cast and technicians will be peominent persons.”
A few of Jaya Krishna's super hit production ventures are 'Manavoori Pandavulu' in 1978, 'Mantrigari Viyyankudu' in 1983, 'Vivaha Bhojanambu' in 1988, etc. Jaya Krishna was the first producer to pay Chiranjeevi the remuneration of Rs. 1116/-.
