Sekhar Kammula is hoping to turn Vidya Balan’s ‘Kahaani’ into a hit all over again. Yes, as per the Tollywood reports the filmmaker is hoping to remake the film in Telugu. The gritty original starred Vidya Balan, Paranbrata Chatterjee and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead and co-written, co-produced and directed by Sujoy Ghosh.
Sekhar Kammula, who so far did soft romantic and youthful movies like ‘Anand’, ‘Godavari’, ‘Happy Days’ and ‘Life Is Beautiful’, had tried in between a poltical movie ‘Leader’ too. Now for the first time Kammula is going to try and do a remake of this Bollywood blockbuster ‘Kahaani’ which belongs to thriller genre. Right now he is busy in making few changes in the script as per the Telugu nativity. Bollywood’s production company Endemol India Pvt Ltd., is going to venture this Telugu remake.
