Tollywood actor Gopichand is set to marry actor Srikanth’s niece named Reshma. The engagement will take place on 23rd December in Hyderabad and the wedding will be held early 2013. Gopichand earlier got engaged to another girl Haritha but later the marriage was called off for reasons unknown after fixing the date.
Gopichand is the younger son of producer late T Krishna. He started off his acting career with a main lead role in ‘Tholi Valapu’. However, filmmaker Teja gave him a good break as villain in ‘Jayam’ and ‘Nizam’. Later he earned more popularity with ‘Varsham’ after which Gopichand once again made his re-entry as hero through ‘Yagnam’ which turned out to be a blockbuster film. Then there was no stopping of him after that with several hits like ‘Andrudu’, ‘Ranam’, ‘Lakshyam’, ‘Souryam’ etc. He is currently shooting for Chandrasekhar Yeleti’s ‘Jackpot’, scheduled for release in 2013. The duo had earlier delivered the film ‘Okkadunnadu’ together.
