Shivaji and Ritu Kaur’s film which is being directed by Manohar Chimmani and produced by S S Krishna and D R Reddy under Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Anjitha Films and RR Reliance banners, has completed 90% of the talkie part. The makers have chosen the title ‘Welcome’ for the film and the tagline for it is ‘Evadi Talent Vadidhi’. The first schedule began on January 20th and the shooting was progressing from then onwards with 18 artists including the comedians.
Producers S S Krishna and D R Reddy said, “We shot an item song on the Daba set erected by art director Vijay Krishna. This song was choreographed by Master Venkat and was shot on Sunaina Goyal along with 100 junior artists and 20 dancers. This apart we also shot an action scene on a huge village set under the supervision of fight master Nandu. Hero Shivaji appeared dynamic while performing this fight.”
Director Manohar Chimmani said, “We will complete the remaining talkie and 4 songs in the next schedule. On the other hand the post production works are going on. This film is going to be a different one in Shivaji’s career. ‘Welcome’ a complete entertainer that would impress all movie buffs.”
