V Doraswamy Raju of VMC Productions banner that delivered devotional films like ‘Annamayya’ and ‘Vengamamba’, is now coming up with yet another devotional film titled ‘Sri Vasavi Vaibhavam’. Interestingly this film will have
Meena in main role. This is her second film under this banner, ‘Vengamamba’ being her first. Uday Bhaskar is going to direct it. Producer Doraswamy Raju announced that the film will be launched grandly on 19th in the presence of Dasari Narayana Rao, K Raghavendra Rao, SS Rajamouli, T J Venkatesh and C Kalyan. He also said, “The film will be extensively shot in Ramakrishna Cine Studios and Ramoji Film City on a single schedule. Graphics play vital role in this film.”
Executive producer Tummalapalli Rama Satyanarayana said, “Not only Vaisyas but many Indians offer prayers to Vasavi Devi. Uday Bhaskar is going to craft this film based on the life history of Goddess Vasavi Ammavaru which is quite contrast to the film ‘Vasavi Kanyaka Parameshwari Mahatyam’ that came 40 years ago.”
Other star cast in the film is Priya, Haasan, Suhasini, Sai Kiran, Suman, Nagababu, Nagineedu, etc.
