Malayalam superstars Mammooty and Suresh Gopi starrer ‘The King And Comissioner’ which was directed by Shaji Kailaas is now being dubbed in Telugu and release in April. Suresh Gopi who earned a special image as police officer with his outstanding performances in ‘Commissioner’ and its sequel ‘Bharatchandra IPS’ has later joined hands with Mammooty for this film ‘The King And Commissioner’. Ranji Phanikkar, who earlier penned for ‘The King’, ‘Commissioner’ and ‘Bharatchandra IPS’, penned for this film also with the intention of showing two powerful characters with two popular heroes in one film. While Mammooty is playing the National Security Force Director,
Suresh Gopi will be seen as Delhi Police Commissioner. Samvrutha is playing the role of a daughter of Central Minister as well as the journalist. Other start cast in the film is Sanjana, Nedimudi Venu, Devan, Sai Kumar and Janardhan.
‘The King And Commissioner’ is the story of two top officials in Delhi where they are involved in a crucial case. How they dealt with the complicated case is the film directed by Shaji Kailaas. According to producer Kalpana Koneru, this political thriller was shot in locations like Ramoji Film City, Chennai and New Delhi. ‘The King And Commissioner’ will be released in Telugu in April.
