Boney Kapoor’s ex-wife Mona Kapoor died due to cancer in Mumbai’s Hinduja Hospital on Sunday. She was 48. Mona was battling with cancer since last year and passed away on Sunday. She is survived by son Arjun and daughter Anshula. The entire Bollywood mourned the loss of Mona Kapoor. Abhishek Bachchan, Salman Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Javed Akhtar, Shabana Azmi, Ritesh Deshmukh, Malika Arora Khan, Arbaaz Khan, Tabu, Prabhu Deva, etc., arrived at Mona’s residence to pay their last respects. While Boney Kapoor, and daughter Anshula Kapoor have put up a brave front, son Arjun performed Mona’s last rites on Monday. Other family members who supported them were Anil Kapoor, Sunita Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor.
Mona Kapoor served the film industry as a film producer. She was the CEO of Future Studios. Son Arjun Kapoor, who is making his debut as hero, took care of his mother till the end.
