Malayalam superstar Mohan Lal is going to appear on Telugu screen after a very long gap. Yes! Sources claim that he is going to be seen as Puttaparti Sai Baba in the film to be directed by Kodi Ramakrishna. The story and screenplay is said to be ready. Music will be scored by maestro Ilayaraja. According to Kodi Ramakrishna, Mohan Lal is the aptly suitable artist for the role of Puttaparthy Saibaba. Mohan Lal also promptly agreed to do the film since he was impressed with the story. The details of shooting schedules and other star cast and technicians will be announced soon.
To recollect Mohan Lal’s first and only appearance on Telugu screen, he gave a guest appearance in a song ‘Goruvanka Vaalagaane’ composed by MM Keeravani in 1994 ‘Gandeevam’ starring Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Balakrishna in the lead.
