Shooting of Ram Charan’s Bollywood maiden movie ‘Zanjeer’ is currently taking place in Hyderabad. As per the sources the film is being shot in various locations in Hyderabad and scenes involving Ram Charan and Priyanka Chopra are being canned. The interesting part is that Priyanka Chopra has joined the sets in this Hyderabad schedule for the first time. This schedule will continue for another two weeks. Ram Charan will be seen in the role of a police officer. Priyanka Chopra was reportedly paid Rs 12 crores to play the female lead role as Mala.
‘Zanjeer’ is the remake film of Amitabh Bachchan’s 1973 blockbuster movie ‘Zanjeer’ and is being directed and produced by Apoorva Lakhia with an ensemble cast of Ram Charan, Priyanka Chopra, Arjun Rampal, Prakash Raj, Sonu Sood, Atul Kulkarni and Mahi Gill. This film will see Amitabh in a guest role. Devisri Prasad is composing the music, which is going to be his first Hindi movie to compose music for all songs and background score. ‘Zanjeer’ (2013) is simultaneously being made in Telugu and Hindi.
