The much awaited film ‘Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu’ in the combination of power star Pawan Kalyan and dashing director Puri Jagannadh is all set to release on October 18th. This movie has milky beauty Tamannah as leading lady opposite Pawan Kalyan. DVV Danayya produced the movie on Universal Media banner with Suryadevara Radhakrishna as its presenter. Mani Sharma composed music, the audio of which is already a big hit. A press meet was held today as part of film promotion. Director Puri Jagannadh, producer DVV Danayya, presenter Radhakrishna, distributor Dil Raju and lyricist Bhaskara Bhatla participated.
Addressing the media Puri Jagannadh said, “I will be grateful to Pawan Kalyan all through my life for giving me the opportunity to direct ‘Badri’ in the year 2000. ‘Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu’ is my second film with him coming after 12 years. I wrote the script 4 years ago and first narrated it to Ravi Teja, who right away suggested me to approach Pawan Kalyan since he felt that this story is aptly suitable to Pawan Kalyan. When I narrated the story to Pawan, he instantly okayed the film and commented that I wrote brilliantly. The story revolves around a journalist and political leader. The theme is based on how the journalist Rambabu tackles the state problem. The film will progress on a serious mode. It’s a mass entertainer. There are jokes on media but not in a way that lets down. Final mixing is presently going on. We are all very positive about the film. Pawan looks excited while dubbing for his character. Mani Sharma’s music is excellent. We haven’t done even a single correction in the background score he provided for the film. After the success of ‘Gabbar Singh’ the expectations among the fans have gone up to the sky. So I’m confident that this movie will definitely not disappoint them and would remain as one of the best films in Pawan’s career. Prakash Raj excelled in the role of a villain Rana Babu.” He concluded saying, “It appears as if I’m taking films at speedily even though I go in a normal pace. The fact is that other directors go little slow.”
Dil Raju said, “Pawan’s films always create waves among audiences and fans. I’m also eagerly waiting to watch ‘Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu’. I’ve distributed Pawan’s career best movies like ‘Tholi Prema’, ‘Khushi’ and ‘Gabbar Singh’ in Nizam area and this is my fourth film in his combination. Any film that Pawan okays will be a super hit film. As soon as he okayed this film I got a call from Bandla Ganesh. So I decided to buy the distribution rights for Nizam aream. I saw few scenes and songs and am immensely impressed with it. We are planning to release the film in highest number of theatres than ‘Gabbar Singh’.”
Producer DVV Danayya said, “I felt very thrilled when Pawan agreed to do this film. Puri Jagannadh is a comfortable director. That’s the reason I was able to produce a film for 4th time in his combination. Pawan will appear glamorous. There is tremendous response for Bhaskara Bhatla’s lyrics and Mani Sharma’s music. We will complete the censor work in another 2 days as we have planned to release the film on October 18th.”
According to lyricist Bhaskara Bhatla, climax song is different from other songs in the film. He claims that he had put in lot of efforts to pen that song. The song is on political backdrop and gives stimulation. I feel happy and proud to have penned that song. So far I have not received any award. But I’m confident about getting an award for this song.”
