We have heard about heroines like Preity Zinta and Hansika Motwani adopting slum children and taking care of their basic needs and education. In this line, here is one more heroine Priya Anand (heroine of Leader, Rama Rama Krishna Krishna & 180) who wants to raise funds to educate a minimum of 25 children from poor families.
The actress mentioned in her twitter account: "Working with The Nalandaway Foundation & Orangestreet. in to Help Educate 25 Children.. Going through the list of children...& I'm having the hardest time selecting. Wonder if WE can come together & give them the gift of Education. Will you guys Help me Help them?"
So the funds raised for this cause will be donated to Nalandaway Foundation. Anyone interested can go ahead and join her in raising the funds for these poor children.
Priya Anand is currently working on two projects - ‘Ko Ante Koti’, a Telugu film opposite Sharwanand and a trilingual film ‘English Vinglish’ (sept 21st release), the film that marks Sridevi’s come back after 14 years sabbatical.
