Director Soundarya R Ashwin’s recent interview to a leading Tamil magazine revealed some key details about superstar Rajnikanth’s upcoming film ‘Kochadaiyaan’ (Vikramasimha). Yes, she revealed that her father Rajnikanth will be seen in dual roles as father Kochadaiyaan/Vikramasimha and son Rana. Both characters in the film are said to be great dancers. Deepika Padukone will be seen romancing son Rana. Story is written by K S Ravi Kumar. Other prominent starcast in the movie is Sarath Kumar, Aadi Pinisetty, Rukmini Vijay Kumar, Nassar and Jackie Shroff. Cameraman Rajiv Menon shot the film with motion capture in 3D format. AR Rahman is providing the music and the soundtrack is expected to hit market shortly. This Eros International and Media One Global Entertainment’s prestigious film is now scheduled for July release.
