Rajnikanth sings a Hindi song

It’s well aware that super star Rajniknath’s latest film ‘Kochadaiyaan’ is simultaneously being made in five languages - Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi and Japanese. The crew had even planned to release the trailer at Cannes International Film Festival but it did not materialize due to unsatisfactory of its design. Now the team is making efforts to successfully launch the audio in Tokyo. Another interesting aspect of this film is that Rajnikanth has lent his voice to two songs in Tamil recently. Lyricist Vairamuttu penned the songs while A R Rahman composed it. Now the latest we hear is that Rajni has sung a song for the Hindi version too. The song was written by Irshad Kamal. As per the film unit sources, he is likely to sing song in the Telugu version ‘Vikrama Simha’ too. The makers have zeroed on July 5th as the release date. Dubbing work is going on at full-swing. This multi-lingual movie is being carved by Rajniknath’s younger daughter Soundarya R Ashwin on Eros International and Media One Global Entertainment. banners. Rajnikanth will be seen playing a dual role in this magnum opus. While Deepika Padukone shares the screen space with son Rana (young Rajnikanth), senior actress Shobana will be seen as King Kochadaiyaan’s (Vikrama Simha) wife. This Rs 125 crores project is being shot with with motion capture in 3D format. Rajiv Menon handles the camera.
