Varun Sandesh and Hari Priya starrer ‘Abbai Class Ammai Mass’ which is directed by Koneti Sreenu and produced by Lakshman Kyadari is all set to hit screens on August 3rd. The Platinum Disc function of this film was held in Hyderabad on Thursday night. Bekkam Venu Gopal graced the event and presented the shields to the unit members.
Bekkam Venu Gopal said, “Lakshman Kyadari and I together produced the film titled ‘Mem Vayasuku Vachcham’. That’s one of the unforgettable movies in our career. And now Lakshman is producing the movie ‘Abbai Class Ammai Mass’. Koneti Sreenu is a good friend of Lakshman. Hari Priya played the role of a prostitute in this film and she is sure to earn an award for it. The film received positive talk from the censor board membes. We have increased the length of the film by 15 minutes after watching the film recently. Sekhar Chandra’s music and Bhaskara Bhatla’s lyrics are the highlights. Sai Krishna penned good dialogues. It’s a paisa vasool film.”
Director Koneti Sreenu said, “I’ve been in the direction department for the past 16-17 years. I’ve been trying to direct a film for the past 5-6 years. I got the idea of this film at the time I watched ‘Pretty Woman’ in theater. Output of the film is great. Hari Priya is lucky to do one such outstanding role in the beginning of her career. Varun Sandesh will be seen in a character that’s afraid of girls. There is good response for the music.”
Varun Sandesh said, “Initially my dad was very impressed with the story and said that it’s based on the English movie ‘Pretty Woman’. This movie reminds us of Julia Roberts. However, the title of this film will definitely remind everyone of Hari Priya. I’ve played all songs on the shooting sets of Mohan Babu garu and received good response from all. After listening to ‘Mem Vayasuku Vachcham’, I became a big fan to Sekhar Chandra. I’m yet to watch this film. I’ll watch it on Saturday with rest of my unit members. Sai is known for his punch dialogues.”
Hari Priya said, “Trailers and songs are very nice. Initially I was little doubtful about my performance in mass role because all my previous roles in my previous films are girl-next-door type. Hence I did lot of homework on this character and worked very hard. I watched several movies of Varun Sandesh. I’m sure this movie will earn a good image to him.”
Producer Lakshman Kyadari said, “Movie’s output is great. We did this film only by trusting the story. Those who watched the film are saying that it’s like ‘Vedam’. Sekhar Chandra provided good music. Overall we are very happy with the output.”
Sekhar Chandra said, “We were taken to Goa by the producer for tuning the songs. He extracted good tunes from me without compromising anywhere.”
Dialogue writer Sai Krishna, lyricist Bhaskara Bhatla, Kaushak Mohammed Siddhique, DTS Rajasekhar, KVR Kumar, Raghu, Arjun, CH Kiran and other unit members also spoke in the platinum disc function.
