Maestro Ilayaraja suffered the cardiac arrest on Monday morning while composing music at Prasad Labs in Hyderabad and was rushed to Apollo hospital and admitted in the intensive care unit (ICU). As per his family members, this is the first time he has suffered a heart attack. Later the hospital authorities revealed that the condition of the veteran music director is stable now, but he needs a complete bed rest of atleast 10 days. Ilayaraja became busy with several projects once again in his second innings. In Telugu, after 'Sree Ramarajyam, he is now part of Gunasekhar's major project 'Rudramadevi' starring Anushka and Rana Daggubati.
He was to perform a special music concert on December 28 in Malaysia for which he was composing music at Prasad Labs during when he got hospitalised. Get well soon sir! Your fans are waiting for your forthcoming music releases.
