2013 has been a disappointing year for Allari Naresh as both ‘Action 3D’ and ‘Kevvu Keka’ turned out to be dud. After that the actor took up only one project so as to give full attention on it. As known to all ‘Laddu Babu’ in the combination of Allari Naresh and Ravi Babu is coming up with lot of expectations for two reasons. Firstly this combination has set a trend with the film ‘Allari’ a decade ago. And now, the first look of ‘Laddu Babu’ which was released couple of days ago has raised many eyebrows and generated curiosity among the movie goers. It is learnt that Allari Naresh is spending around 5-6 hours to apply the make-up and around 2 hours to remove it every day. Naresh is playing an obese chap in this film. So he has to bare 23 kgs extra weight on his body including half a kilo chin on his face, each hand weighing 2 kgs and each leg weighing 4 kgs. Hollywood make-up men have come down to India to dress up this character. We have earlier seen Kamal Haasan spending hours experimenting with such kind of make-up in ‘Avvai Shanmughi’ (‘Bhamane Satyabhamane’ in Telugu and ‘Chachi 420’ in Hindi) and also in ‘Dasavataaram’. Allari Naresh and Ravi Babu are together taking our Telugu cinema to the next level with this feat in ‘Laddu Babu’. Shooting has been completed. Post production works are going on at a fast pace. ‘Laddu Babu’ is set for release on February 14 and it’s sure worth a wait.
