The Telugu film fraternity congratulated Dr D Ramanaidu on winning the highest civilian award, ‘Padma Bhushan’. D Ramanaidu expressed his happiness too and said, “Padma Bhushan is my 47th award which I’m going to receive. Earlier I received the the prestigious Dada Saheb Phalke award and even won as the Best Parliamentarian award in my political career. Although my children keep advising me to retire from films and take rest, it’s difficult for me to do so. I’m now planning to direct a film soon. The directors who were introduced through our banner are ready to support me by being my assistant directors.”
