While Dil Raju has declared that ‘Yevadu’ will hit theaters on July 31st, the makers of ‘Zanjeer’ too have fixed a pucca release date for the film as September 6th. Both the films which are the action entertainer are coming within a gap of one month. ‘Zanjeer’ marks
Ram Charan’s Bollywood debut and it’s also a remake of 1993 Amitabh Bachchan’s blockbuster movie ‘Zanjeer But what’s more interesting about this film is that director Apoorva Lakhia dealt with oil mafia, which is the current social issue.
Priyanka Chopra with make her Tollywood debut with this Hindi/Telugu film. The rest of the star cast is also same except Sunjay Dutt and Atul Kulkarni were replaced with Srihari and Tanikella Bharani in Telugu version. Anand Raj Anand, Meet Bros Anjjan and Chirantan Bhatt scored music for the tracks while Amar Mohile did the background score. Gururaj Jois handled the cinematography. The 2013 ‘Zanjeer’ is jointly produced by Reliance Entertainment, Flying Turtle Films, Rampage Motion Pictures, Prakash Mehra Productions (Hindi) and Adai Mehra Productions (Telugu).
