Tamil director Bala has become close to Telugu audience with his realistic dubbed films like ‘Sethu’, ‘Pithamagan’, ‘Nanda’ and ‘Naan Kadavul’. Bala is known to choose different conceptual stories from the routine ones. That’s the reason the characters in his films are very realistic and earned him several awards. His latest creation ‘Paradesi’ was recently released in Tamil Nadu and became a box-office hit. This film is now being brought to the Telugu audience by Future Films banner. Producer Kiran is dubbing the film in Telugu with the same title ‘Paradesi’. Senior Tamil actor Late Murali’s son Atharva played the male lead role, Vedika played the female lead role and Dhansika essayed the second heroine role.
Producer Kiran said, “Director Bala and his films needs no introduction. He always comes out with rare and wonderful films. I’m very happy and proud to presenter his latest ‘Paradesi’ to the Telugu audience. This movie is an adaptation of the real incident that occurred in 1937. ‘Paradesi’ tells the story of enslaved plantation workers from a village who experience atrocities in pre-Independence India. Atharva earned very good name in this film. Similarly Vedika who was so far seen in glamour roles did a wonderful character in this film in this film. Shooting was held in tea gardens and surrounding villages in Tamil Nadu for 90 days. We have completed the dubbing work. Audio will be released on 22 June in Hyderabad. Director Bala, music director G V Prakash and hero Atharva will attend this audio function. We are planning to release the film in July.”
