The central government today, announced the highest civilian award ‘Bharata Ratna’ to the most deserving cricketer Sachin, who is being worshipped as God of Indian cricket. This announcement from the central government has come after recognizing his 24 years of service to the cricket game. Sachin is the first cricketer to be selected for ‘Bharata Ratna’ and interestingly he is the youngest among all for getting this honor. The central government has declared this award for Sachin on the day of his retirement.
There wouldn’t be anyone who will not like the youth icon Sachin and director Maruthi is one among those who’s a crazy fan of Sachin. On the eve of master blaster Sachin Tendulkar getting the prestigious Bharata Ratna award soon after his retirement, director Maruthi released a press note praising the cricketer. In his press note he mentioned, “Although his retirement has caused sorrow, the Bharata Ratna’ award announcement has brought back the smile in my face. Thanks to the central government for recognizing him at the soonest possible and announcing it. I love cricket and two people I like the most in cricket are Kapil Dev and Sachin Tendulkar. Today is Sachin’s day. It’s unbelievable that Sachin has taken retirement. I was shocked when I heard that he announced his retirement. Besides cricket, Sachin is a great human being who has very high moral values. I’m one of his fans who consider him as my role model. The central government announced Bharata Ratna to him and made India proud. My hearty congrats to Sachin for winning Bharata Ratna award at a very young age.
