Ever since Nagarjuna announced about Akhil’s acting debut in ‘Adda’ audio launching event, there has been talk about his maiden film in the combination of several directors. However Nagarjuna is being very careful when it comes to selecting the script or the director as he doesn’t want to repeat the mistake which he did in Naga Chaitanya’s case. Although a rumor about Trivikram directing Akhil has spread like wildfire, Akhil has put a fullstop to it through his tweet mentioning, “Hey guys, couple of rumours going around that I'm going to be working with Trivikrim Garu for my first film. I love his work no doubt but... It isn't true! No movie has been signed and no story has been heard. Just wanted to clear this out. I'm excited to work with him soon though.”
Nevertheless, the latest sources say that seven stories are ready for Akhil Akkineni. Now Nag has to think well and decide which one would be the best for Akhil’s debut in 2014, is it love story, mass subject or a film on sports backdrop? Let’s wait and see as there is no official confirmation from Nagarjuna since he wanted to keep things low key atleast till he finalizes on it.
