With Charmi in lead role Teja Films banner is coming out with the film ‘Mantra 2’. Introducing SC Satish as director, Bonala Srikanth, K Sauri Reddy and Ravi Teja are jointly producing this suspense thriller. K Padma is the presenter. According to producers, the regular shooting began on September 26th and completed the 1st shooting schedule on October 5th. “In this schedule, few key scenes that include Charmi’s office related ones were canned. Charmi will be seen as a software engineer in this film. ‘Mantra 2’ will have lot of night oriented scenes since the film is on the backdrop of suspense cum horror. That’s the reason we are shooting the film day and night without any break. In this aspect we can never forget the cooperation being rendered by Charmi. ‘Mantra 2’ is not a sequel to ‘Mantra’ but a kind of sequel. We are making efforts to carve this film better than the original. Nonstop shooting at Ramoji Film City will take place from 3rd week of this month,” added producers.
Director Satish said, “This is the first of its kind horror film in Indian Cinema so far. Similarly Charmi is the first heroine who is acting in original as well as its sequel. There are only two songs in the film. Music director Shiva Shankar rendered excellent music for both the songs.”
