Famous playback singer SP Balabrahmanyam’s son prominent singer SP Charan is producing a bi-lingual film titled ‘Moodu Mukkallo Cheppalante’ on Capital Film Works banner in Telugu and Tamil languages. Rakendu Mouli, the youngest son of script writer and lyricist Vennelakanti, is being introduced as hero and Adithi is the heroine. SP Balasubrahmayam and Lakshmi are playing crucial roles in the film that features Brahmanandam, Ali, Tanikella Bharani, Raja Ravindra, Kadambari Kiran and Venky and some others in important roles. The entire shooting the film which is being directed by debutant Madhumitha has been completed.
“‘Moodu Mukkallo Cheppalante’ revolves around two guys, who resigned to their jobs to start a new business. The rest of the story is about what business they have started and how their lives changes after that is the crucial point. In fact, we have approached Rakendu Mouli for penning the dialogues. But, I thought he would be perfectly apt to the story. SP Charan also accepted and therefore we went ahead with Rakendu Mouli as hero. We have taken it as a challenge to release the film simultaneously in two languages,” said director Madhumitha.
“Director Madhumitha has directed hit films in Tamil like ‘Vallamai Tharayo’ and ‘Kola Kolaya Mundhirika’. ‘Vallamai Tharayo’ has won many awards and the second film also got good response. We have taken the title from the lines of a dialogue from prominent director K Balachandar’s film.’Moodu Mukkallo Cheppalante’ title is perfectly apt to the story. It’s a romantic comedy film. We have completed the shooting of this bilingual film within 70 days. We are planning to release the audio of the film on 23rd of January,” said producer SP Charan.
Brahmanandam, Tanikella Bharani, Ali, Raja Ravindra, Kadambari Kiran and Venki are also part of the film.
