Movies like ‘Muthu’ and ‘Bashaa’ earned good image for Southern Super star Rajnikanth in Japan. Infact Japan was in love with Rajnikanth since then and all his films were dubbed into Japanese language. Till recent times, Japanese people knew an Indian film as a Rajnikanth film. But now it’s learnt that NTR too made a big splash in Japan with his dance moves. The actor’s film songs became popular with Japanese people wherever the dance competitions were held. Another interesting aspect which many of us are unaware is, a music channel in Japan called Fuji Television sent a team to Hyderabad for an exclusive interview with NTR to include in a documentary film on him for television broadcast some time ago. Reports also claim that NTR learnt the Japanese language for this interview. Also a special team is said to be arriving Hyderabad shortly to invite NTR as a special guest for this year’s Indian Film Festival in Japan.
The latest update is that ‘Baadshah’ is going to be dubbed into Japanese language. ‘Simhadri’ and ‘Yamadonga’ are also rumoured to be dubbed and release in Japan, although no official confirmation has been made yet. With some box-office failures after ‘Brindavanam’, NTR’s craze has come down at home to some extent. Yet his fans can celebrate this NTR’s A-list status over in Japan.
