The term ‘Undile Manchi Kalam Mundhu Mundhuna.. ‘(UMKMM) instantly reminds us of many things. One, the evergreen song from the Legendary NTR’s landmark 1964 film Ramudu Bheemudu , also the first ever film produced by Dr.D.Ramanaidu (under Suresh Productions ). The lasting lyric was written by one of our greatest poets SriSri. So its an interesting coincidence that in ‘Undile manchikalam..’song ‘s golden jubilee year, a film is made with that phrase.
Undile .. was also one of the powerful slogans in the recent historic elections in India, that produced dramatic results. And Undile.. is a phrase, oft repeated in every household to give hope and confidence of better times ahead for all.
It is with this hope an educated young team with a passion for good cinema and an eagerness to tell a beautiful story has adopted this phrase ‘Undile Manchikalam .. to their first film. Arun Dasyam the debut making director tells a story of friendship, aspirations , love and bonding in a simple and beautiful manner.
Undile Manchi Kalam.. has (Sekhar Kammula’s) ‘Life is Beautiful’ fame Sudhakar as one of the Lead Actors. Sudhakar’s character is a bundle of energy , who loves music, as much as he loves his mother (played amazingly by the senior actor Radikaa) and his lady love , and not the least his buddy Karteek. Sudhakar dreams of becoming a famous drummer despite all odds , while Karteek, his childhood buddy makes a fine debut as a struggling youngster who aspires to represent the Indian Hockey Team, and is also duty bound towards his father played by Senior Actor Naresh. Standing by his side in his journey is also the beautiful Avantika, until all these relationships are put to test by circumstances. Will they triumph over the obstacles or succumb to destiny’s might is dealt in a very heart touching manner by Director Arun. The film has some excellent and haunting melodious songs , shot beautifully around the scenic locales of Vizag.
This is also the first Telugu Film made with Hockey as one of the backdrops. And perhaps true to the title the Indian Hockey Team recorded a spectacular victory over Pakistan in the just concluded Asian games , for the first time in 16 years and a win that is directly taking Indian team to participate in the Rio Olympics.
Another interesting factor is also that most of the Team behind UMKMM is from Vizag. The recent devastation caused by HudHud Cyclone also caused several turbulences in the team’s journey. But despite everything , they persist and make this attempt to tell a positive story.

Because of the merit of the music and the film , iDream Media also for the first time launched the music of ‘Undile manchikalam .. and now is all set to release the film in overseas markets on the 28th Nov’2014.
