Psychological thriller ‘Budugu’ that features Manchu Lakshmi, Sridhar Rao, Master Prem and Baby Dolly in important roles, is coming to the audience on April 17. The film is being directed by Manmohan. Bhaskar and Sarika Srinivas are producing the film under Hyderabad Film Innovates Pvt. Ltd. banner with Sudhir as presenter. Indraja played psychiatrist role in the film.
“‘Budugu’ is the story of an 8-year-old child Bunny who suffers from physiological problems. He has a sister named dolly and a dog named Troy. They live in a flat in a gated community in Hyderabad. His mother and father are employs and they have no time to take care of their children. Parents fed up with abnormal behaviour of Bunny and his lack of interest in studies. Therefore, his parents join him in a boarding school. There everyone shocked with the Bunny’s behaviour. He sees some strangers, whom others can't see. When Bunny was taken to treatment, some unbelievable truths about him were disclosed. Why is Bunny behaving like that should be seen on screen. ‘Budugu’ is a child based physiological thriller. The story is based on the real life incidents. We are planning to bring the film to the audience on April 17,” said director Manmohan.
Producers said, “I’m confident that ‘Budugu’ which goes on in a family drama backdrop will impress all sects of audience. Director Manmohan has carved out the physiological problems of children in a heart touching way.
Sana, Indu Anand, Sailaja Vani, Althaf and Indraja are playing important roles.
