Manchu Lakshmi starrer psychological thriller ‘Budugu’ has completed post-production works and is getting ready for release. The film is being directed by Manmohan, which features Manchu Lakshmi, Sridhar Rao, Master Prem and Baby Dolly in key roles. Bhaskar and Sarika Srinivas are producing the film under The Hyderabad Film Innovates Pvt. Ltd. with Sudhir as presenter.
‘Budugu’ is the story of an 8-year-old child Bunny who suffers from physiological problems. He has a sister named dolly and a dog named Troy. They live in a flat in a gated community in Hyderabad. His mother and father are employs and they have no time to take care of their children. Parents fed up with abnormal behaviour of Bunny and his lack of interest in studies. Therefore, his parents join him in a boarding school. There everyone shocked with the Bunny’s behaviour. He sees some strangers, whom others can't see. When Bunny was taken to treatment, some unbelievable truths about him were disclosed. Why is Bunny behaving like that should be seen on screen. ‘Budugu’ is a child based physiological thriller. The story is based on the real life incidents. After completing post-production works, we will bring the film to the audience soon,” said director Manmohan.
Sana, Indu Anand, Sailaja Vani, Althaf and Indraja are playing important roles.
