Shreayan Kapoor and Pragathi starrer ‘Basthi’ has completed all formalities including censor and is all set for release on July 3. The film is directed and produced by entrepreneur-turned-filmmaker Vasu Manthena under Vajman Productions banner. On the eve of film’s release, the makers have arranged press meet in Hyderabad.
On the eve of film’s release, Vasu Manthena said, “’Basthi’ is an action love story. Hero and heroine in the film will meet each other during a feud between two sects in a Basthi. They both falls in love. The story of the film is about how that love pair wins their love. ‘Basthi’ is a creative experience film. Before entering into the film industry, I was an entrepreneur and whatever I’ve learned there, I’ve learned on my own. In the same way, I’ve learned a lot related to film industry. I have not worked under any prominent directors. We did healthy discussions during the shooting. Excellent team has worked for the film. We enjoyed a lot in the sets and it was a nice journey. We joined the sets with perfect planning and thus we are able to complete the film within 36 days. Shreayan is very handsome and I’m sure he will impress the audience with his acting. He performed well in the film. Heroine Pragathi also performed well. Both have acted as experienced artists. I’m sure the film will impress all sects of audience.”
Hero Shreayan shared, “We are coming to the audience on July 3, with ‘Basthi’. It’s a cute love story. I hope that everyone will encourage us.”
