Young and talented Praveen Sattaru, who had succeeded as director through the films ‘LBW’ and ‘Routine Love Story’ and won national Award through his third film ‘Chandamama Kathalu’, is now coming out with another film titled ‘Guntur Talkies’. The film that features Siddhu Jonnalagadda, Senior Naresh, ‘Jabardasth’ fame
Rashmi Gautam, Shraddha Das, Lakshmi Manchu, Bollywood actor and director Mahesh Manjrekar and Raja Ravinder in important roles, is being produced by Raj Kumar M under RK Studios banner. Sensational Cinematographer Senthil Kumar’s disciple Rami Reddy is being introduced as cinematographer through this film. Meanwhile, the film’s talkie part has been completed recently. On this occasion, the film unit has arranged press meet to disclose the film details. Producer Raj Kumar M, Director Praveen Sattaru, Hero Siddhu, Heroine Rashmi, Raja Ravinder, Cinematographer Rami Reddy and Music Director Sricharan Pakala were present at the meet.
Producer Raj Kumar said, “I’m very happy that the film is being made under national Award winner Praveen Sattaru’s direction. We have been shooting without a break for 40 days and completed the talkie part. We are flying to Bangkok in this week to film songs. We are planning to release the film in the first half of July.”
“’Guntur Talkies’ is being made with comedy as highlight on the backdrop of Guntur. The story of the film revolves around two guys named Hari and Giri and what unpredictable incidents that happens due to their witticism is the rest of the story,” said director Praveen Sattaru.
Siddhu and Rashmi expressed their happiness for having given them the opportunity. Raja Ravinder said that he is playing a key role in this film after a long gap. He is very confident that he will become busy through this film as an actor. Rami Reddy thanked the director and producer for giving him the opportunity. Music director Sricharan Pakala said, “Director and producers are extracting good music from me and the songs will go in sync with the story.”
Other important cast includes: Raghu Babu, Thagubothu Ramesh, Ravi Prakash, Fish Venkat, Jogi Naidu, Giridhar, Pavala Shyamala, Jaya Vani, Apoorva, Snigdha, Karate Kalyani and Allari Subhashini.
